
Step 1: Boil the pasta in salted water, 1–2 minutes less than the time indicated on the package, so they turn out al dente.
Step 2: Drain the pasta and transfer it to a bowl. Let it cool slightly.
Step 3: Add the rest of the ingredients: halved cherry tomatoes, torn fresh mozzarella, a handful of arugula, and two generous tablespoons of pesto. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then mix well.
Step 4: For extra flavor, add a few Parmesan shavings when serving.
