Pasta with vanilla and walnut sauce

  • 150g Monte Banato small circle dessert pasta
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 350ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flakes
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 50g walnut
  • the zest of a lemon

Step 1: Boil the Monte Banato dessert pasta as said on the package.
Step 2: In the meantime, prepare the vanilla sauce in a bowl by mixing the egg yolks and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 3: Place a pot over small heat and add the milk, 1 tablespoon of sugar and vanilla flakes.
Step 4: After the milk mix has simmered for a few minutes, strain the vanilla flakes and add them over the egg yolk and sugar mix.
Step 5: Combine everything in a pot and let it simmer until it starts to thicken.
Step 6: Serve on a plate and top with walnut and lemon zest.
