  • 300g Monte Banato elbow dessert pasta
  • 400g cottage cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • vanilla extract
  • lemon zest
Method

Step 1: Start by preparing the filling. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with 2 eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until you get a smooth mixture. Finally, add the sour cream and mix again.

Step 2: Cook the dessert pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain well and quickly add the hot pasta to the sweet cheese mixture. Stir to combine.

Step 3: In a baking dish greased with butter, pour in the pasta and cheese mixture. Beat the remaining 2 eggs and pour them over the top, adding a few small pieces of butter as well. Bake at a moderate temperature until golden and nicely browned on top.

Step 4: Serve warm or cold, topped with seasonal fruits and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, or any topping you like.
